USB Not booting on Samsung XE303C12 chromebook

I used this script to make a bootable Arch USB
altreact/archbk: Run Arch Linux ARM on Your Chromebook
I tried everything including remaking the USB, using different scripts to install Linux onto a USB
No matter what i do (yes i used ctrl + u and plugged the flash drive into the black USB port) it always waits a second, beeps at me, then takes me back to OS verification off
I followed the exact tutorial for my exact Chromebook so idk what I'm doing wrong.
