I'm working on a project to turn a GPD Pocket 2 into a phone replacement device using Project Croissant to get it to boot a Pixelbook Chrome OS image.

I've gotten inbound and outbound calling working, as well as cellular network connectivity, but the one thing I don't have is GPS.

Is there a way to, over USB or bluetooth, get GPS working on Chrome OS for things like Google Maps (either browser or Android)? Developer mode / terminal stuff is entirely fair game.

Thanks!

I'm looking for similar. I was able to install GPSd in Crostini Linux, but that isn't available to the chrome kernel/apps nor available to the android apps. I can drop to the chrome OS linux shell ctrl +alt + F1, and what I'm reading I should be using #emerge to install packages. But there doesn't seem to be much info on this.
