This isn't the mailing list for questions about google products but as someone who works for school IT you can user wallpapers for your student accounts.

Let me look at admin panel and find where it is directly

Sorry if I am in the wrong place. Google Apps EDU Support pointed me here for feature requests as Google Chrome OS developers are on this list.

No need to look in the admin panel. Got that. The issue is that you can set the wallpaper for a user or a kiosk user, but NOT the login screen.

Thanks!
Gil

Correct. Whenever you focus a user pod, we show that user's wallpaper.

There is no policy for globally overriding the wallpaper on the login
screen (and no such policy is planned).

This seems to miss an important aspect of user experience in an enterprise environment. I want my district users to open their Chromebook and know that this working environment (the Chromebook) is integrated with our systems and process.

Thanks!

feature requests like this probably should be handled via your support contact.  i don't see the value in it myself.

Sorry if this is not the correct place. My support contact at Google suggested that I post this here as Google Chrome OS folks are on this list.

As for value, I see lots of value in a device opening to an organizational branded login screen. I want my users to know this is a district managed device. As well, it is a tool to splash all sorts of info on end user devices.

Thanks!

Gil

Please use your Google support contact and/or http://crbug.com to file a
feature request for this.

Thanks,
