How am I supposed to manage popups about Scrolling Direction and Display & Text Size on initial boot?

Hello,

Just recently this very annoying popup has started showing up on our students' Chromebooks, every time they start their device...

I have found no mention of this change in any documentation anywhere!

I also can't find an admin setting to disable it for all my users or devices.

Since we clear profiles on each logout, this happens on every login for every user!

You can imagine what a time waste that is with a class of 30 six-year-olds, every 40 minutes, every day, in every class, for every teacher, in all schools, around the world.

Not clearing the user profiles is not an option, as that is necessary for other reasons.

it sounds like you run a domain with devices enrolled in them.  please reach out via your support contacts for admin advice.  i don't think anyone really watches these lists along those lines.

it's likely that the people who coded the feature aren't subscribed here.  we don't mandate all Googlers who work on ChromiumOS, directly or indirectly, be subscribed to our public mailing lists.

you should still raise this via your support contacts.  just because there is no setting/control right now doesn't mean you can't raise the report/concern so that it would make its way through the system as a bug report / feature request.
