I have waited 10mins or so, I thought that would be more than enough, but maybe I should wait longer?
I just tried holding Ctrl+alt+f12 but nothing happened, I don't get the log or terminal. That means it is frozen right?

The standard chromium OS doesn't support most nvidia cards out of the box.You could try flint OS , Arnold the bat or neverwares builds.I know Flint OS works on the nvidia 600 series as that's what I currently use.
