is the device in dev mode ?  you can't boot custom images unless you put it into dev mode first.

Looking at the second screen shot you posted, It looks like you
booted in recovery mode. Recovery mode requires a Google-signed
recovery image, even in dev mode.

It looks like your system _is_ properly set up to boot from USB in
dev mode. The proper procedure to do that should be this:
* Power off
* Insert your USB stick
* Power on normally (just push the power button)
* At the dev mode screen, type ctrl+U

you really should use amd64-generic.  the x86-generic build is for old 32bit systems.

I  cannot build  amd64-generic image due to chinese net, and  according to  developguide , board configure is not  important .
issue  still on

sorry, i don't understand that ... if you were able to download & build x86-generic, why not amd64-generic ?  it's the same source tree.

i don't know what portion of the guide you're referencing ... the board does matter.  x86-generic is 32bit and amd64-generic is 64bit.  if you're building for an actual board (which you are as you said "gnawty"), then you should use that instead.  that'll include the settings/firmware/etc... specifically for that device.
