ChromeOS Flex feature request

Can you make an option for average users to dual boot their laptop with CrOS Flex while keeping Windows/macOS when they need to use a Windows/macOS app, instead of always requiring you to format it all the time, this would make installation less of a thing to fear.

Thank you for the feature request, at this time we have no plans to implement dual boot with windows/macOS devices.

But can a method of installation that preserves, than transfers the user document folders and a few settings be implemented?

That's not as simple as you would think, especially with full disk encryption.

for macOS, FDE was on by default since the devices that shipped with Yosemite, but plenty of Macs that users are interested to salvage still have earlier versions.
