Combining two audio sources?

Hey all, I have a Chromebox for Meetings package that came with one Jabra speaker/mic thing, and I'm trying to link up an additional one. Currently I have three- one wired and two Bluetooth (that can also be used via USB). My goal is to have two of them set up as audio inputs (don't even need them as outputs) simultaneously to feed Hangouts. However, I can't make any serious command-line-level modifications to the OS without voiding our $250 support contract. I have done a fair amount of fruitless Googling, and the best thing I've found is a design doc for the Chrome OS Audio Server:

It seems like I will be able to mix sources before feeding them to the OS with this, but as I am new to using Chromium (this is my first device), I have no idea how to build/integrate it and if it will void my warranty (I can check on the latter part with the salesman who sold me the device). Can someone explain a little more about how this implemented, and perhaps if it could suit my needs?

Thanks!

P.S. Not Chromium related- anyone with Raspberry Pi experience think I could achieve this (two USB audio sources to a single output, either USB or 3.5mm) using a Pi?

Yes, support for this was added last year. There is even an API that
the Chromebox for meetings app can use to enable them both. Since you
are paying for a support contract, I'd advise asking them how to
properly set this up.

According to them, it's programmed in to the larger Chromebox for Meetings package that comes with two mics itself. So it seems like I am on my own. The real issue is that the box is being used exclusively for Hangouts and boots into a special OS that is just Hangouts. I believe the settings from the standard OS (which is an alternate boot) carry over, so that package may work. I'll look into it. If anyone else has any advice I would appreciate it a lot!
