Advantages differences and other questions about chromium OS

I know that chromium OS is kept togheter by community and maybe a few billion of google,

but the chromium os page explains nothing, like can I still run android apps!?

Do I have the same restrictions of chrome OS?

Whats the actual difference between the two that actually matters:

that isn't it can be modified

Also its weird seeing the lack of forks imo
