My Lenovo duet is not getting detected after recent update. Anyone know what could be the issue?

I would clean the pogo pins at the bottom and make sure it's not a hardware issue.

You might want to try a hardware / EC reset, see the link below for:

devices-without-keyboards

My Pixel Slate keyboard gave up the ghost years ago and I've been using the one linked below which I'm quite happy with:

CTL Chrome OS Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse [Works with Chromebook Certified]

If you really think it's the chromeOS update I'd first file a feedback report and then do a powerwash & revert to see if that fixes it.

I tried EC reset and for a while i can see the cursor but it neither the trackpad nor the keyboard works. As soon as i touch the screen the cursor disappears. I have already tried powerwash and reverting the update.

It sounds like it may be a keyboard issue, hopefully just the keyboard itself, not the device.
If you have a USB keyboard around you might try it just to see.

How to check if my keyboard is faulty? I would buy a Bluetooth keyboard in that case.
