Hello, I'm on the dev channel of Chrome OS (currently v60) and want to go back to stable channel.

Choosing stable says it will take effect when the stable channel reaches v60, but I want to go to stable now. So I chose stable, and now I want to factory reset.

However, none of this is working for me:

There is no "powerwash" option in the new settings page, and hitting ctrl+alt+shift+R at the login screen isn't doing anything (no "restart" button appears).

What should I do? Thank you :)

grab a USB stick and go through the recovery flow.

note: that help page specifically says that if your device is enrolled, then you won't have access to powerwashing.

Oh! thank you :)  Well I didn't do a very thorough job reading the help article, but still it would be cool if the settings page detected that situation and said "Powerwashing is disabled because this device is enterprise enrolled. See Reset a work or school Chromebook".  :)

I ended up doing the USB thing since I was trying to go back a few versions, but for anyone who finds this thread that just wants to do a normal factory reset, I think it might have been possible to do it without a USB by doing Wipe device data and just remember to hit  ctrl+alt+E before logging in to corp enroll again.
