I've just installed chromium os Vanilla-4028.0.2013_04_20_1810-r706c4144 on HP netbook. Installation went fine, everything is working except when I go to the web store I have a link preventing me from installing apps. It says, 'Your Chrome version is not supported by the Web Store - Download the latest Google Chrome'. When I click on the link I get, 'Since you are on a Chromebook, you don't need to download Chrome. You will always have the most updated version automatically. Enjoy!'
I'm not enjoying this, I can't install any apps!
TIA

that's a really old version (more than a year).  maybe you need to update to something recent.

I'm having the same problem. Where can we get the latest version of Chromium OS?

Instructions for downloading the latest ChromiumOS build artifacts can be found in this thread:

https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/d/msg/chromium-os-dev/l43bK0NBoxM/YQg_19wh388J

Start from the first waterfall link and follow the directions, as the actual links in that thread to the example builder/build are now outdated.
