I pretty sure the write protect screw is on the back of the motherboard.  If I remember correctly, you have to use some non-conductive washer to take out write protection.

Sorry, I misread.  The one I described is for samsung chromebookl

From the picture, looks like you have already removed the WP screw.

Not sure if you are still facing difficulty even after removing write-protect screw. And that's why asking in this forum.
If so, please check the software write-protect status and if enabled disable it and then you will be able to modify RO if you intend to do so.

To check status
#flashrom -p host --wp-status  (for ec replace host with ec)
If says enabled, disable with below command.
#flashrom -p host --wp-disable
