TRUE GUI WITH DRAG AND DROP/PC and MAC INTEGRATION

I've written about having a more graphical interface before, and this is probably just an extension of that issue.
I can drag and drop to my Google Drive from a PC or Mac, but I can only download from my Google Drive by going through the rigamarole of downloading to a download folder. If there were a better way of dragging and dropping in the other direction, life would be sweeter.
Chrome OS sits between my work PC and my home Mac and I just want file transfers to be a bit more normal.
As an extension of that issue, if there were an easy (NOT 3rd PARTY WAY) to mount my Google Drive to my Mac or Pc so that they just saw it as another drive, that would work too.
I hope I've been clear, but fear I have not.
