Thanks for the recent help related to Chrome Remote Desktop.

I have a somewhat different question this time.

I notice that when I visit the web or app "Chrome Remote Desktop", I'm presented with "Remote Access", "Remote Support" and "Set up via SSH" as three left tabs regardless of what operating system I'm on.

I understand that the "Remote Support" tab relates to the Remote Desktop support that requires a one-time-use tab.   And it appears that the "Remote Access" tab relates to the ability for one computer to remote in to another using a persistent pin.  This latter usage allows unattended remoting.

If I open the "Remote Access" tab, what I sometime see links to download software to further set up the capability.   That's fine.  But after all the downloads are complete and installed, what I see on that tab still varies depending on OS.  Most platforms seem to have a "This Device" -> "Set up remote access" button" that allows one to set things up so that the computer can be accessed with a persistent key.   But on ChromeOS I'm never seeing an option.

I've found comments elsewhere about this, but I ask additionally...

Is there an explanation for it not being supported on ChromeOS when it's supported on other platforms?

If I were to use ChromeOS Enterprise or some other edition of ChromeOS, would persistent key option appear or be achievable via some other ux?   (Ex. Could a teacher or an admin remote in to an unattended Chromebook?)

Thanks.
