Dear users and advanced developers from Google company,
My name is Janusz Chmiel and I Am visually impaired user with no
sight at all. I Am very satisfied ChromeOS user for more than one year.
I like Google stable operating system and professional Chromevox screen
reader. In fact, The chromebook has rapidly changed my life. Thanks to
Chromevox, I can use various multimedia TV streaming applications and I
do not have to use settobox or some external Smart TV.
Chromebook can be used without seeing out of The box. Stable kernel, lov
latency device drivers for driving sound chip and reliable software
modules an enable Me to do many thinks with my Chromebook including.
Running Debian container, many Android apps with using Chromevox.
Chromevox allow me to access all Android GUI elements by using quick
navigation keys and it is not possible on standard Android devices.
Because Chromevox presents android GUI as A WEB page where all GUI
elements can be quickly find and activated.
It is very useful for Android apps with complex GUI which contain many
GUI elements on The screen.
I would like to know, if Google will allow users to remove penguin
container after user has enabled Linux support in The development settings.
When I have enabled Linux, when I have completed Debian container
installation I can not really remove Penguin container.
I have closed Debian OS correctly as Root by typing
poweroff
I have exited Linux subsystem by using Terminal context menu by pressing
Exit Linux.
I have activated Cross developers shell by pressing CTRL+Alt+t
I have typed
vmc termina
lxc delete penguin
Something strange is happening. Penguin data still persists somewhere
and when I install other container by using The following WEB address
https://images.lxd.canonical.com/
Penguin data still persists so I had to disable Linux in settings and I
had to create new container directly by using Cross by bypassing
standard Settings dialog box.
Penguin data did not persists in this case but I do not know, if I will
not lost some crucial services such as Somnelier support and sound support.
My goal is to run Fedora and Archlinux containers. Archlinux contain
very useful Aur community and Yay, while Fedora contain my favourite
Purple-facebook Pidgin plugin which I can not compile in ArchLinux or in
other distros.
More over, every distribution contain some useful apps and compiling
some of them is not trivial task for non advanced developer.
But there is important question.
If Google will still allow users to use containers from
https://images.lxd.canonical.com/
Or if it will end very soon so I Am wasting my time while making those
experiments?
Thank you very much for your patience with my long E-mail.
With The biggest appreciation and with kind regards to all users and
developers who are being participating on this mailing list
