Hi,

Sending my wife abroad for a while and she wants to use her chromebook offline.  This would work fine if her documents were stored under a regular *@gmail.com account, but I have a domain registered through Google where we get the free Google Apps account, and this is where everything is.

I followed the directions in this link (http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1642623) and have enabled all users to use google drive offline, but the option under drive.google.com > More... does not reveal 'Offline'.

I've tested an @gmail.com account and this worked fine on the chromebook, its accounts under my personal domain that do not show the offline docs option.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

Regards,
Andrew

This is really a more appropriate question for Chromebook Central than this discussion group, but I'm not certain from your post if your wife currently logs in to her Chromebook with her personal gmail account or with the apps account. If it's her account, she'll need to set up another user account on the Chromebook to use the offline for the apps account. Drive only allows one offline account per profile.

Also, unless she's really going to the middle of nowhere, she shouldn't have much trouble finding WiFi while traveling.
