Quick question about Adaptive Charging

I'm a school student who needs my laptop at 100% for school so I use Adaptive Charging, however on weekends I wish to use a Charge Limit as the laptop will be plugged into a power source, will this erase what Adaptive Charging has learnt about my schedule when I switch back to Adaptive Charging?
