Hi. We developed an app for ChromeBook and we use some usb devices like drone controller.
Unfortunately, ChromeOs doesn't detect some devices.
We found that crosh detects our devices, but there is no connection alarm saying chromeOS detected some devices.

However we found a solution by paying for Gsuite and control some settings about device's PID / VID
(this is it : https://support.google.com/chromebook/thread/181731582/gamepad-controller-won-t-connect?hl=en)
Then ChromeOS made an alert to connect with their android or linux system.

We're looking for another way to solve this problem.
We already know that there is a ChromeOS' device whitelist and support has been discontinued.

Are there any solutions?

not sure what you mean by "support has been discontinued".  the linked thread doesn't explain things.

what device (VID/PID) exactly are you using here ?  what Linux API/driver do you want it to use ?
is this a HID (i.e. controller), a serial device, a MFC with diff endpoints, or something else ?

you should plug in the device then file OS feedback, and put something like "#usbdrone" in the description so we can try and pull it up.
