Dear ChromiumOS Team,
I am currently working at the Ministry of the Interior in France as a disability (handicap) referent.
One of my colleagues, who is visually impaired, recently shared that ChromeOS offers the best accessibility tools he has ever used. This feedback stood out to us, as accessibility is a key concern in our workplace.
However, using a Chromebook is not always compatible with our professional environment and requirements. Therefore, I would like to ask: would it be possible to port or adapt ChromeOS accessibility features to other Linux distributions such as Debian or Fedora?
We believe that bringing these tools to more flexible systems could significantly improve the working experience for people with disabilities.
Additionally, we would be very interested in supporting or contributing to such an initiative if collaboration is possible.
Thank you for your time and for the important work you are doing in accessibility.
Kind regards,
Antoine TORRE
