I've been running Manjaro Linux on my Chromebook Pixel for some time now with no issues; whenever the laptop boots I hit ctrl-l to start SeaBIOS and then boot into linux. Manjaro is installed on the entire SSD, Chrome OS is no longer installed. However, just yesterday I turned the pixel on and was unable to boot into SeaBIOS; the ctrl-l key combination now just beeps at me angrily. It appears that the dev_boot_legacy and dev_boot_usb flags have somehow been reset to 0.
Herein lies the problem - I have no way to change these flags back to the correct setting without booting into chrome os, which is not installed. I have no way of backing up my data without being able to boot from USB, and I have no way of installing chrome os without wiping my entire SSD. Is there any way to back up the data from my pixel short of taking it apart and pulling out the SSD (if that is even possible)?

Quoth Israel Lopez:
Thanks for this link (and to whoever wrote the guide) - it's good to
know. I updated the Debian wiki page about the Pixel to mention this
workaround.
