Not sure if this is a good place to mention this, but direct me if I am wrong.

The built in video player on Chrome OS plays XVid avi's very poorly. The video is choppy and the audio likes to drift in and out of sync. What is weird, is it doesn't seem to be using the entire CPU. It is hard to tell exactly how much it is using however.

This is on the new ARM Chromebook from Samsung. It doesn't seem to matter what bitrate the video is either. To reproduce it an easy way is to use EMIT to download a video from your computer.

I am not on the Chromebook right now but if you go to Settings > Help,
there should be a dmesg and Xorg log, you should be able to see it
from there, plus you can invoke 'top' from the crosh shell. What video
are you playing? I will try to reproduce it on my Chromebook later.
