Folks,

Does anyone know how I can "Span" multiple outputs?  I have an HP Chromebook 14a-na1093cl running through my HP G2 docking station with two 24-inch monitors allowing three displays with notebook on bottom 24's in portrait mode shown as:

Display - 13761487533244416 = Built In
Display - 9585585166781956 - HP 24mh
Display - 9585585166781957 - HP 24mh

What I am wondering is how do I span an application between the Outputs.

There's a chrome://flags flag and maybe a Displays setting for span, but I think you'd need to set the brightness to 0% on the built in display otherwise the span would cover all 3 and probably not behave the way you'd want.

Strange how this "works" I'm used to multiple monitors (have used six at a time before) but when I enable this on my setup, Chromebook on the bottom and dual portrait 24s above it plugged into HP G2 docking station I get zoomed window till I turn off the built-in display, then my 24's flip sides so I can span displays but they are not together?  when I turn off the position is again correct.  So how do I use all three monitors and not have screen resizing kick in on all displays?

ChromeOS handles monitors differently than any other operating system because Google built their own window manager.

You can use Control Shift Plus/Minus to adjust the resolution after switching between span and independent monitors. Chrome OS allows you to set the resolution/zoom on a per monitor basis in independent mode. It's been a while since I've used span mode, I believe you should be able to adjust the resolution but I'm not positive.
