ChromeOS Flex has not updated to version 146 yet while offficial Chromebook already got a new one nearly a week ago. On the Chrome release blog, I saw an announcement that a new version of ChromeOS Flex had been released. However, I have waited and checked for update few times this week, I still don't see any new one at all. Another strange thing is that newest version is listed on https://chromiumdash.appspot.com/ is also 145 on Stable channel.

Hi Nino,

ChromeOS Flex updates often arrive slightly later than those for official Chromebooks because the development team needs to build and optimize the OS for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures to ensure compatibility across a wide range of hardware.

This additional building and testing process can lead to a short delay after the initial announcement before the update becomes available on the Stable channel.

Best regards,

Nino,

Dylan's reply addresses why there are delays, but in addition, ChromeOS Flex may not get version 146 but skip to version 147 instead, at least according to the Serving Builds site for ChromeOS Flex / Reven, see below.

Another issue is that the option "Install with Linux" was removed from both ChromeOS and ChromeOS Flex without any annoucement. It is really discomfortable to install apps via terminal because sometimes I do not know how to solve the errrors when setting things up in Linux Terminal.
