So I am using the brave browser as my secondary browser which I installed via Linux, the problem is that when I am watching a long YouTube video, the screen gets locked and I have to enter my pin to unlock the screen everytime. Why does it happen even when the screen is in use?? Is there any fix?

That would the intended behavior as applications/processes running in a container have no ability to prevent the host machine from locking. There is no real way around this.

Understood. But this is annoying to be honest. LIke I am watching a long video and the screen gets locked every 5 minutes or so.

You can use an extension like Keep Awake on the ChromeOS side to keep the screen from locking/sleeping.
