Chromium OS black screen after boot logo

I'm using the Vanilla build from 20th April 2013, and when I boot from the USB, I see the white Chromium splash screen, but then it goes to a nonresponsive black screen. If I press Alt+F2 fast enough, I can get the dev console, but it just appears for a second and then goes black. I've looked around extensively for solutions but haven't found anything (that I could undestand, anyway). I do have Mobility Radeon HD graphics, if that's an issue.

Any help is appreciated, I'd love to give Chrome OS a try.

I'm having a similar issue, (although I press ctrl-alt-f2) after the first one goes black I press it again and I get access to the Console.
