cros_sdk not running

Hello,

I am new to building Chromium OS. I followed the guide up to the point where I enter the chroot. When I enter "cros_sdk" inside my chromiumos directory I receive the following error. I made sure to sync repo before running this. I tried running this as the user and as root and receive the same errors. Anybody know what causes this?

I tried running it as both root and non-root and received the same result.

once you run it as root, it might get you into a bad state that non-root can't recover.  i'd recommend deleting the entire checkout and then redoing it all only as a non-root user.

So i deleted everything, went through the instructions again and made sure to not use root and am still receiving the same error message

The only difference that i made was i built my /chromium directory in a home folder and not ~/chromium directory. Would that make a difference?

the path does not matter.  the tools can handle any location.

are you sure it's showing the same error message ?

that isn't the same error message you posted originally

it sounds like you need to (re)follow the depot_tools setup steps:

why we don't stop this fatal fault of this script design at very beginning before user tries to repo sync to get 39GB data ?
