3G conecction in Chromium OS, please help!

Hi all,
I've been using Chromium on my laptop long time ago.
Now I've been forced to use internet only via 3G USB modem Huawei
since I haven't got wifi at home.
I've read different approaches on the internet about about these
devices and applied them with no success (all of them regarding Ubuntu
or other linux distros.)
Is there a way to make it work in Chromium?
Apparently no even ttyUSB0 shows up.
