Can anyone share a recent, working image for a MS Surface ?
ATB images do not support the WiFi chip (Marvell AVASTAR 88W8797), I wonder if anyone had any success with others.
Thanks

Hey Luigi,
Can we get a detailed view of what hardware surface uses? It might be nice to know those since the more available hardware is for the open source community the more we can support a device line.
I'll try to give it a look at the main portage repository as well.

Hey Capuccino,
on my old Surface I ultimately had to use EmydeOS_v3 as ATB, not even the special one, misses support for the WiFi/BT adaptor used, the mentioned Marvell AVASTAR 88W8797. I think newer Surfaces are still using the same chip. Once EmydeOS gave me a fully working base system I was able to use croissant and have a nice chromeOS device. Some random lockups are affecting the build but cannot identify a pattern.
In the future having full support for that chip would provide Surface users with a full upgradable path.
