Chrome OS Flex and Toshiba CB35-A3120 Chromebook

Greetings, I hope this is the appropriate place to seek help for a Chromebook issue.

I have a Toshiba CB35-A3120 Chromebook on which I have installed Chrome OS Flex.  All has been well until the most recent update to Version Version 146.0.7680. This update to version 146 has broken the touchpad.  It no longer works at all.  I can still use a USB mouse but not the touchpad. I believe it is a Cypress APA Trackpad (cyapa).  I have tried the Beta and Dev channels with no help.  It was working perfectly on Version 145.0.7632.216.
