I have a Lenovo Chromebook 14 with the MediaTek Companio chip, a new 2023 platform. Two weeks ago, (1 Oct 2023) I began seeing popup ads, where the whole screen was covered up, link waslightinthebox.com
I try to be proactive about checking for odd activity, and noticed that chrome://gcm-internals/ shows a Registered App Id for lightinthebox.com (Red Arrow) I have only observed Google processes under that section.
So this is some sort of authorization to send messages from a scam website. How do I remove this? Resetting browser settings does not get rid of it.

that page is a browser thing, not OS. you prob want to ask in browser groups instead.
as general advice, you prob want to check which Chrome extensions you have installed and remove shady ones. pretty sure they can register GCM stuff.
