Hi Alexandre,

1) If you have the AdBlock Chrome extension installed, try removing
it. It can cause slowdowns.

2) If your WiFi uses WPA or WPA2, try configuring your wireless
router to use AES instead of TKIP. There's a bug that causes the Cr-48
to run slowly with TKIP encrypted networks.

Is your laptop a multi-core machine with a faster processor and more RAM?

I have a similar problem. When I open multiple tabs at once my system
gets very sluggish and sometimes freezes. According to this:
http://www.thechromesource.com/more-with-a-chrome-os-ninja/ it can be
caused by having a corrupt profile.

from my experience ext2 filesystem is better performance speaking.
beside aes is better than tkip that is true, ext3/4 on a ssd is
slower. (u need at least btrfs w/ ssd flag to tie ext2 performance) so
i suggest to switch to dev mode and convert root and stateful
filesystems to ext2 (u have to change chromeos_startup script also to
do that) an see if u improve your performance.
on my acer zg5 w/ last chromium os (10.0.624.0 chrome) ext2 filesystem
and wpa/aes i am flying.
