Hi,

  I would like to know the size of Chrome OS to download it on to a suitably sized Flash drive.Please do let me know also if I can uninstall the Windows 10 OS that my laptop is running, rather sluggishly at present after I install Chrome OS or if I have go in for a totally different laptop, with only Chrome OS(Chromebook).Thanks in advance as it'll be extremely useful especially for my everyday computer usage.

To add, the Chrome OS recovery image you may be alluding to above is only for Chromebooks and other Chrome OS devices.

You won't be able to install Chrome OS on a device it's not designed for like a Windows laptop.

You can install Chromium OS or a ready-made version called Cloudready by Neverware.

If you want the full Chrome OS experience you'll probably want to get a Chromebook.
