My chromebook doesn't have a built in fingerprint sensor, but I am curious. If I were to buy a usb sensor, would it be compatible with chrome os? I know a lot of them say that they are plug and play but they also say they're windows specific. Would it be possible to plug a usb fingerprint sensor in and have it work right away to unlock a chromebook. My phone is unreliable and kind of a hassle to unlock so I don't have to type my lengthy password to unlock my chromebook so I figure a usb fingerprint sensor would make my life a lot easier in that regard.
