Hi,
I need to assign a static-IP to a Chromebook for AVL testing (IP need to be fixed and need to assign quickly after reboot).
When Configure dhcp server to assign a static IP address, it takes much longer time to update the ip-address when Chromebook connect the LAN and test case timeout.
Hence we connect to local hub and tester, and need to assign a static-ip to Chromebook.
In Linux, I use /etc/network/interfaces file to set the static IP.
In Chrome, I set the static-ip in chrome UI->NetworkTab (deselect Configure automatically), however get reset back immediately and even after reboot.
Hence, how to assign a static-IP to a Chromebook?
Thx & rgds,
Sukumar
I see its working fine (able to set static-IP) after using the latest release (R63-9933).
Thx and rgds,
