Hi,

I'm trying to find an owner of the gnubbyd-v1 Chrome application in order to ask a few questions.

I'm wondering if it's possible for non-Chrome processes to talk to gnubbyd. Mainly, if it's possible to forward requests from UDS(Unix domain socket) to the gnubbyd. Because currently it seems on ChromeOS gnubby forwarding only works via Chrome extensions/web requests.

Could someone help me with this?

assuming you mean https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lkjlajklkdhaneeelolkfgbpikkgnkpk,

look in //google3/security/tools/gnubby/gnubbyd/extension/ for relevant teams/owners

i don't know what the story is for native messaging on CrOS though. i suspect the gnubbyd owners won't either :). so you'll prob want to solicit with some extension teams first for feasibility, or just try hacking something together like Linux does and run it by the CrOS security team.
