Where's the source code of IME UI in desktop mode?

I'd like to refine the UI of the IME a bit, but couldn't find where its sourcecode was placed. I was able to find the Virtual Keyboard sourcecode in google-input-tools, but what about the one in desktop mode?

unfortunately, the IMEs in ChromeOS have all gone proprietary closed source
