Starting today I see these messages each time when running ssh or scp:

/home/vbendeb/.ssh/config line 90: Unsupported option "rhostsrsaauthentication"
/home/vbendeb/.ssh/config line 91: Unsupported option "rsaauthentication"

these options are in fact included in the git*.chromium.org section of the config file which is probably not needed any more, but just out of curiosity - has the chroot move to a newer version of ssh which somehow obsoletes these options?

those are SSHv1-specific options.  SSHv1 is dead now.

when did this happen, has there been a PSA I missed?

there was no PSA.  seems like noise to announce something that's been deprecated for over a decade.

but it worked a week ago inside chroot and still works outside chroot.

A PSA would be helpful when such a basic utility is changed.

sorry, but i disagree.  i'm not going to relay long dead features being dead.  that's just a waste of dev's cognitive time.
