Is python 2.7 still needed in CROS?

Hi Chromium OS developers.

As you know, python 2.7 is still installed in STATE partition in CROS dev/test version.

And when I get execute python codes, It always warn "Python 2.7 is deprecated and will be removed from CrOS by end of 2021. All users must migrate ASAP."

Can I remove the python 2.7 from my CROS now?

Should I be concerned of any backward compatibility issues?

it's still used by autotest tests.  cleanup is ongoing.
