Booting Chromium OS on RISC-V error message help needed

Hi

I enabled a riscv build of Chromium OS (albeit with lots of workaround and disabling some packages like chrome), and now trying to boot the using my custom kernel and the root filesystem generated by the cros_sdk. I'm greeting with the kernel logs followed by a few init messages and the system rebooted.

Any guidance on how to debug this? I have some experiences with Yocto and LFS, but this error is pretty new to me.

Currently looking at cros's init applications (sysrq-init, pstore, cros_configfs) and understanding the errors.

sysrq-init error is due to kernel configuration error. But that wouldn't cause the whole system to reboot, continuing to debug.

theres this cool project called the meta project, it's focusing on porting chromiumos to risc-v.

is there any repository/steps/rootfs that you are able to share? so maybe I can try it on sifive's unmatched board

Hi Yixu,

We managed to got past the steps, but we currently do not publish any binaries or source yet as it is still not fully bootable (we got to the Chromium OS splash screen and crashed, suspect due to Chromium browser being disabled in the build). 

We will share more information once we have the build working to boot to CrOS desktop and upload our repository.
