Platform: Ramibi, Servo board

I plug the USB stick at Servo board "USB_KEY" socket and press esc+refrech+power to enter recovery mode.

Chromebook device will lock at "Insert screen", but not enter recovery mode.

If I plug USB stick at Chromebook device, it can enter recovery mode properly.

I use the  command "dut-control usb_mux_sel1:dut_sees_usbkey" to make sure the Chromebook device can detect USB stick before.

Any suggestions?

Have you plugged in the USB cable which goes from the servo board to the DUT? The USB isn't transferred over the servo cable.

Yes, I plug the USB cable from Servo(DUT_HUB_IN) to DUT and  It can be detected in Chromebook device (ls /dev/sd*).

A question, and two suggestions:
* What model device is this?
* To plug in the USB stick, you may need this command:
dut-control usb_mux_sel1:dut_sees_usbkey prtctl4_pwren:on
* Instead of esc+refresh+power, try the command below, and
report what happens:
dut-control power_state:rec usb_mux_sel1:dut_sees_usbkey
prtctl4_pwren:on

Thanks!

Can you check the RO FW version on your system? Run "crossystem ro_fwid" to check it. You may be missing this change:

Prior to landing the above change, we saw issues with booting / detection of certain USB mass storage devices in recovery mode, depending on USB device setup.

Any FW version < R34-5216.214.0 does not have the fix.
