New issue 39912 by jen...@chromium.org: Cras: cros detect a wrong active
input device
http://code.google.com/p/chromium-os/issues/detail?id=39912

Chrome Version : chromium 30.0.1563.0
OS Version : Platform 4371.0.0
Type of computer : daisy_spring

During my testing of audio devices, sometimes, I saw cras detect a wrong
audio input device. As seen in the attached screen shot, the active input
device is set to "DAISY-I2S MIC JACK", which is not plugged. This may
happen when I plug in the headphone, I am not 100% sure, but seems very
likely.

This can cause the problem we see in crbug.com/256379, if the active
microphone is set wrong, the internal mic might not capture any input, just
behave like muted.
