New issue 39911 by
jen...@chromium.org: cros device crash when switching
active audio input device from ash tray menu
http://code.google.com/p/chromium-os/issues/detail?id=39911
Chrome Version : Chromium 30.0.1563.0
OS Version : Platform 4371.0.0
Type of computer : daisy_spring
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open ash tray audio menu.
2. Switch audio input between internal mic and USB mic
What is the expected output?
Active audio input devices should be switched.
What do you see instead?
Quite often, the kernel crashes. As I observed, it seems crashes when
active input is set to USB microphone for the most times.
The attached are some crash dump files.
How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to
reproduce?)
What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
Please provide any additional information below.
