Recording Audio Through Microphone

Hello

Does Audio Recording work on chromium and chrome both?and is there some OS specification?

I wanted to integrate the audio recording feature in my application

Audio input is supported starting in m27, yes (beta channel).  "Recording" implies a capture of that audio (into a file, presumably), which isn't built in, but can be done.

It is possible to control the sampling rate? 

We also had an issue that when the default sampling rate was attempted to change in the audio settings, chrome crashed. It's really not convenient to set up chat applications with 44.1KHz Stereo audio. Mono, 8/16KHz is much better.

No, it's not possible to control the sampling rate; the sample rate is set by the audio device.

It is practical to record audio from microphone and system by taking the aid of a 3rd-party screen recorder on Windows, which will allow you to capture onscreen audios as well as videos from YouTube, Fackbook, Yahoo, Hulu, Google Chrome, etc. without hassle.
