Hey,
As I'm jumping into this discussion group I'd like to start with the
basics, i.e. the development tool. I'm using HTML5/CSS/JS and PHP on
the server side. I use Eclipse Helios, which is useful mostly for the
PHP side, because on the HTML5 editor almost everything I type is
highlighted in red or yellow ;-).
Question: would the GWT plug-in installation do the job? Or should I
consider other IDE?
Thanks

GWT plugin (The Google Plugin for Eclipse) does not have any special
support for HTML as such. You may consider adobe's special ide for
HTML5 features.

I use Helios too since the web app I work on has a java back-end.
For client side code I use aptana plugin for it, seems to work fine but might not have support for newer html5 tags.
Might want to give it a try I guess
