Hello!

Since a week or so, all javascript animations are really slow, but only on chrome. Mostly i see it when there is a hovering-effect (on menus for example) or while dragging some javascript objects. The movement is smooth, but it is lagging a lot.

Also, when i select some text, the selection is lagging too.

I've tried to start inkognito mode and i also have disabled all addons, but there was no difference. I don't have this problem on Firefox or IE. I've uploaded a video to demonstrate my problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAIDzAS_d_M The code used in this video is from an example here: http://aktuell.de.selfhtml.org/artikel/javascript/draganddrop/beispiel_drag_and_drop.htm

Can you please help me? I have also tried with Chrome canary, but it's lagging too.

Chrome Version: 24.0.1312.57
Operating System: Windows 7 64bit
Extensions: none at the moment

hw-specs:
cpu: i5-2410m
nvidia gt540m
Intel gfx driver version: 8.15.10.2342
Nvida gfx driver version: 306.97

Works fine for me.
Chrome 24.0.1312.57 m on Windows Vista Home Premium SP 2 (32 bit).
Also, Chrome 26.0.1407.0 canary with all of the GPU features disabled.

Try to run Chrome with --disable-gpu. Does it help?

Hi,

yes, this option helps, it's much faster now (no lag) but the boxes are changing it's size.

so this is a problem with my gfx card? I have also tried to start chrome with the nvidia driver, but here's the same problem.

but i don't have these problems with any other browser (including safari)
