Gamepad API status?

I would like to know the status of html5 Gamepad API spec and its support in chromium, if anyone has any idea. I would like to know how mature it is as I see differences in latest public draft, editors draft and browser implementations including firefox/chrome. I see gamepad-tester on html5rocks.com working fine on by chrome but I would like to know which spec version it implements and is it the final spec?
