Hi,

Actually I asked this question in Chrome forum but someone suggest me to post it in here. (https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/chrome/MlLdFWSexBE/TYxFlpd6yCoJ)

I want to use google web speech api in my web project. People will connect to my web project viaChrome ( I will force them, when they connect via IE or firefox I ignore them ) and then they can speak something and I use the text version of that sound.

Using this library in a commercial web app, is it free ? Is there a limit ? For example, https://dictation.io uses chrome web speech api. Does it have a limit ? I don't think so, because lots of people use it. And thousands of requests go to the google server. I want to use this speech api like dictation.io

Thanks.

I do not think there is a certain quota, however, if a single user uses it too much (hundreds of requests per hour, say?), I would not be surprised if the server throttled that user.

Generally, it is a public and open web API and you are free to use it, yes.
