speech web api for responsive website ?

Hello,

In a project around improving eloquence, I am using web speech api in order to retrieve the speed of the voice. It works perfectly in Chrome Desktop but when we go on mobile devices(android/ios) using chrome, it doesn't work as expected. Is it normal ? I there a way to use this api with mobile devices via Chrome ios/android ?

Chrome for iOS is like Safari with a skin for that matter (it uses the system WebKit and not Blink), so this is a separate issue that you can bring up at bugs.webkit.org.

Regarding Chrome for Android, the general "it doesn't work as expected" is not enough information to diagnose. What is the exact difference you are seeing? What does your implementation expect and does not detect, technically?
