Hi.  So I've had a perfectly function SSH client with the app, but decided to give Ain to all those deprecation warnings and switch to the extension.  When I try to connect to my key hosts though, it's failing with this message:

Unable to negotiate with UNKNOWN port -1: no matching host key type found. Their offer: ssh-rsa,ssh-dss

I tried deleting my connections to those hosts, and then creating a new connection, but that fails in the same way. My known hosts file does not have those hosts, and my config file is empty.  I did try creating a connection to a different host, which was not among my existing connections, and it politely asked if I wanted to accept the key of an unknown host, and then connected without problem.

Any assistance appreciated.  Thanks.

Ken

Probably should have added that I'm running version 0.44 of the extension, on a Chromebook running Version 98.0.4758.107

the server is ancient & insecure and you really need to upgrade it.  this isn't a bug in the Secure Shell extension.  please see the FAQ:
